Forty Blue Dog Democrats have raised concerns and are pushing for major revisions in the Health Care Bill before they consider it for approval.
Their concerns focus on A) it doesn’t preserve what works; B) it doesn’t fix what’s broken; and C) the bill doesn’t fully identify funding sources (still short $320B over 10 years).
“Hooray” that members of the president’s own party are doing right by America by asking the tough questions, and demanding tough answers before the bills goes forward for vote.
What is nice to see is that the focus is on actually trying to come up with a workable, funded plan rather than playing tactical games that have no room for compromise.
